Bringing a touch of greenery into your home can transform spaces into soothing, vibrant areas that promote relaxation and overall well-being. But, if you’re new to indoor gardening, choosing the right plants and figuring out how to careism in India hit the family hard during the lockdown.
Lakshmi Kishore’s friends have helped keep the lights on. A crowd funding effort has helped them financially, but they are still nearly $500 short of what they need for the seven year old’s next operation.
The second Kickstarter campaign is to raise funds for a unique charity called ‘Sandbox’ – so named because it is planned to be a safe place for disabled children in Africa to meet their peers in a play setting.
The project, which is still on the drawing board, will see the first such play centre based in Mombasa, Kenya.
It is the brainchild of another journalist, whose daughter was born with hydrocephalus, rickets and epilepsy.
Khabar Hub supports the campaign to help this worthy effort get first funding for the project.
